NATUR-kultur-NATUR
NATUR-kultur-NATUR, initiated and curated by Nils Viga Hausken, introduces international artists to the small rural hamlet of Hjelmeland, Norway.. In its second year, Nils is focusing on landscape based images. A digital image of the original artwork is enlarged onto a coated canvas material and hangs outside on the wall of the Culture Centre Spinneriet, which is located at Hjelmelandsvågen, Norway. Nils chose 75kts from my Kts series for the 2024-2025 installation.
This special project NATUR-kultur-NATUR was realized with support from Rogaland County, Hjelmeland township and Ryfylkefondet.
Nils and I met while being artists-in-residence at the Djerassi Resident Artists Program in Woodside, California in 2013.
